Start a DIY Fundraiser

Thank you so much for your interest in supporting Victim Witness Services through Do-It-Yourself (DIY) fundraising efforts. Every day, we are in awe of our community's creative, energetic and inspiring ideas to raise money for Victim Witness Services and help us offer programs and support to hundreds of people each year. Fundraising efforts at any level are welcome and are deeply appreciated.

You can—as an individual, business or community leader—plan and host events and activities with proceeds benefiting Victim Witness Services, a 501c(3) nonprofit organization. By fundraising, you can assist us in:

  • Providing support to survivors of interpersonal violence such as domestic violence, sexual assault and child abuse

  • Expanding our awareness and outreach efforts through education and training programs for professionals who work with survivors

  • Shedding light on our issues and encouraging local, state, and national dialogue to end violence

  • Effecting policy changes and advocating for greater justice for survivors of interpersonal violence such as domestic violence, sexual assault and child abuse

How can you fundraise for Victim Witness Services? Just follow the easy steps below.

Step One: Fill out the DIY fundraising form

It’s important for us to have a good understanding of your fundraising idea. We approve fundraising ideas based on a number of criteria and regret that we won’t always be able to approve all proposals. We know that you’re eager to start fundraising, but please note that you must wait until you hear back from us to begin making your idea a reality. We appreciate your patience!

Step Two:

The Victim Witness DIY fundraising team reviews all fundraising forms on a regular basis. We try to approve as many fundraising ideas as possible, but sometimes ideas may not align with our mission and approach to work or may be in conflict with existing relationships.
